MOSKVA-5 KMZ 1959 RUSSIAN USSR MEDIUM FORMAT 6x9 cm FOLDING CAMERA

This camera was manufactured from 1956 to 1960 at the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant, Moscow Region, USSR. The type of photographic material used is type 120 film (roll film).

The frame size is 6x9 or 6x6 cm on film type 120. To switch to a frame size of 6x6 cm, a special frame is inserted into the film channel, included with the device.

On type 120 film, 8 frames measuring 6x9 cm or 12 frames measuring 6x6 cm were obtained.

The camera body is injection molded and covered with leatherette.The body is foldable; after tilting the front panel, a bellows with a lens frame and a central shutter is automatically pulled out using a system of levers.When opening the camera, the lens and shutter are not set in a strictly vertical position.See last photo. Therefore, the camera is not suitable for photography, only for collection or display.
