Add a little pep to your peplum, with this silver sequin trimmed peplum dress, circa 1940's...

This medium weight, woven wool dress is great for most seasons! It comes in a soft, cool red color -almost reddish pink in hue (the photographs of the side angles represent the color best), and was Union-made. The neckline is jewel style, and edged in silver sequin trim. Shoulders feature light shoulder padding as well as pleat detail, the sleeves are short, and the overall silhouette is very relaxed, with a slightly flared skirt. There is a metal side zipper closure at left side seam, as well as a keyhole style back neck with hook & loop closure. BUT, of course, the best feature by far is the wonderful peplum, which starts as two little front flares, and develops into a dramatic point at the back -all also trimmed in silver sequins. The only label is a Union style sizing label. Overall condition is excellent, with very little signs of wear and just a mild front underarm staining. Please note: I actually took these photographs before treating these underarm stains (didn't notice them until under bright photography lights), so please see the last two photographs, which show the underarms post-stain treatment.
