Schnappt Hubi! made by well known games brand Ravensburger was one of the first games my children played independently together. Needless to say it won the prestigious„game of the year“ award in 2012.

The game can be played with 2 to 4 players, but is just as exciting to be played with just two.

There are three different difficulty levels with the highest one quite challenging, so as the children grow up, there is still a challenge.

The idea is to hunt down the ghost Hubi by placing a player in the same room as Hubi. It’s a game where the players need to coordinate their actions in order to be successful against Hubi. From time to time the animals also living in the castle give out clues where Hubi might be, however it moves around. If the players haven’t caught Hubi by dawn, Hubi has won!

The electronic device that talks to the players only talks in German. It’s not difficult nor is their an extensive vocabulary, but I thought I mention it. The instructions are also only in German.

We loved this game and it took my children a long time to grow out of it.

The game is in used, but good condition.

It’s complete and comes from a smoke and pet free home.
