High quality, low cost
Summary: Yes, this is an imported product (pressure plate stamped "Mexico", but of high quality, nevertheless. After working as an engineer in Manufacturing for over 40 years, I have learned not to make generalizations about products' country of origin, just each product individually. The clutch disc is also a high quality item, thick friction facing, rivets are attached well. The kit even includes an alignment tool. I was unable to use the pilot bushing that is also included, because the Cadillac 500 crankshaft will require me to machine my own (along with a custom Cadillac flywheel). For regular Chevrolet applications the pilot bushing will be just fine.
Cons: Packaging could be improved
