Tilley two arm railway burners, damaged, for repair.
In the early 1960's a scrap dealer purchased a large quantity of Tilley railway lamps and parts. Sadly he took a saw and a drill to them and made Frankenstein lamps out of what he had.........
When the dealer closed I bought what was left buried in the sheds and these burners are the remnants.
As pictured the burners are missing the spigot, injector and dome but standard Tilley parts will fit. The ends of the tubes have been crudely cut and threaded.
It may be possible to cut the tubes cleanly and re-thread them to fit the burner onto an AL15 or AL21 but I have not tried this.
The burners are sold as not working used parts for the experienced collector to experiment with. I make no claims as to their use.
