Vintage Watercolour landscape x2  Signed J.M 1862 British
School of Turner clearly by a dedicated devotee of significant skill.
What is not to like, absolutely stunning mountain skylines probably Cumbria (though enlighten me do if you know better)
Obviously these do not emulate Turners famous large oil on canvas seascapes yet he was a diverse watercolour artist who attempted numerous styles in his travels.
Shown in their tatty frames one is gold card bevel mounted the other simply stuck to card easily remounted.
Not only is the skill of this unkown artist incredibe the fact they are foxing free is also of great note.
JMW Turner had passed away shortly before the given date so the initials are coincidental.
No negatives stunning works in the sublime romantic style popularised by JMW Turner in excellent condition
The photographs simply do not do the paintings justice, these mountainscapes are just exquisitely delivered.
