This is a 1960s vintage hat from MUHLFELDER‘S, this is called a pillbox hat and it is a wool base made in Italy and adorned with navy blue fringed accents. The inner diameter measures 20 inches, this a Sz small. I inspected this hat twice and did not find any damage or moth bites.There are no odors or any issues with this hat whatsoever.
