Tribal Rug

We offer an antique or semi-antique tribal hand knotted garden rug featuring two flowering Tree of Life motifs within black medallions surrounded by additional flowering shrubs and stylized gazelle, deer and birds scattered on a red field. Two lanes surround the field, one with repeating phoenix like characters and the outer lane filled with ordered flowers. The rug has a low profile wool pile woven on a cotton foundation.

The rug measures approximately 4’ 5" in width and 6’ 7” in length.

As seen in the photographs, the rug has wear and abrasion along the upper and lower edges.

The tribal Tree of Life garden rug retains an age appropriate patina that time imparts on hand woven rugs. The rug is presented in cleaned condition.
