RARE & VINTAGE SOLID BRASS, HAND-PAINTED BELT BUCKLE THAT READS, “1983 NATIONAL RENO GAY RODEO”. GAY RODEO HAD ITS BEGINNINGS IN RENO IN 1976. THIS BUCKLE IS MADE BY AMINCO HERITAGE BUCKLES, WHOLESALERS UNLIMITED, ORANGE, CA 92668. THIS BUCKLE IS 3-3/8” (3-3/4 including belt attachment) X 2-1/8” X 5/8” INCLUDING BELT HOLE STUD. THIS BUCKLE WILL ACCOMMODATE A BELT THAT IS APPROXIMATELY 1-1/2” WIDE. THE COWBOY’S HAT, SHIRT OR CHEST GUARD, BACK OF THE SADDLE & CHAPS ARE A BEAUTIFUL BLUE WHILE THE REST OF THE BUCKLE IS BRASS AND BLACK.

***PLEASE NOTE*** THERE IS A SMUG (please zoom in on photograph number 1) ON THE LOWER PORTION OF “TI” IN NATIONAL AND THE “ENO” OF RENO. I JUST USED A WET MICROFIBER CLOTH TO TRY TO REMOVE IT BUT I BELIEVE IT MAY BE UNDER THE CLEAR FINISH THAT THE MAKER USED TO PREVENT THE BRASS FROM TARNISHING. I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO BE ANY MORE AGGRESSIVE WITH TRYING TO REMOVE IT BECAUSE OF THE HARM I MIGHT CAUSE AND BECAUSE THE SMUG IS NOT THAT NOTICEABLE. PLEASE NOTE// I DID NOT CHANGE ANY COLORS IN THESE PHOTOGRAPHS BUT I DID BRIGHTEN THEM UP SO ONE COULD SEE THE INTRICATE DETAIL. THANK YOU!
