Silver Enamel Inkwell, Birmingham 1923, H S Murdoch
Glass inkwell with silver mount and enamel lid section and ceramic flower on top.
Hallmarked from Birmingham in 1923 with the makers mark being that of H S Murdoch.
Slight play on the hinge, no damage to enamel or silver, flowers all have dark spots of blue or pink with each fading to almost white, it appears this was made like this and is not loss of the colour.
Only small blemish is a small chip to the underside of the glass, only evident if lifted and is not seen at all otherwise.
Measures 69x41mm.
