Antique 19th Century Chinese Terracotta Food Beverage Storage Jar Crock, Large, Olive Glaze, 13" Tall. Striking incised furrows and line designs.
Beautirul condition. Crock shows age related wear to glaze and some chips at the base which reveal the red terracotta clay. There is a small chip on the edge of the mouth also which shows the terracotta. There are a few large drips of the glaze, normal for this type of glaze and type of pottery, which you can see in the pictures. Pictures show clearly the condition.
Approx 13" tall x 12" wide. Approx 5.5" top diameter at mouth and 7.25" at base. 12 lbs.
