Overview

Designed to meet the requirements of medium sized professional public address installations, delivering an output power of 60W. Features include, VOX muting, four balanced XLR microphone inputs, four line RCA inputs, bass and treble controls, enabling a diversity of installation applications, including schools, public halls, workshops and sporting complexes. Powered by either 240V AC mains or 24V DC permitting battery backup operation during mains power failure.  Master volume can be controlled remotely via figure 8 cable and the A 2280B wall control unit or 1K potentiometer (part no. R2202). High Performance Frequency response extends from 40Hz to 10kHz  at a total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 0.5%.  Output may be 100V line or low impedance (8 - 16Ω) speaker loads. Protection Features The A 4041A features in-built thermal overload shutdown, over current and short circuit protection for reliable operation in all conditions. VOX Muting Functionality In-built VOX circuit allows telephone paging via line inputs one or two (selectable internally). When paging via the telephone, all other line inputs are muted. This can be used to mute background music during an announcement. When VOX is selected on input 1, muting will occur on inputs 2 and 3. If VOX is selected on input 2 muting will occur on input 3 only. Optional Alert Evac Module A 4573 Simple to install plugin module supplied preloaded with international standard evacuation tones conforming to AS1670.4.2004. As well as the standard tones there is a voice over feature which allows pre-recorded message of up to 16 seconds duration to be triggered.
