The buyer resumes all responsibility of return shipping. If the wrong part or un-wanted was purchased and a refund is requested, there will be a 15% restocking fee (This takes effect as soon as the part is purchased). Buyer is responsible to contact us through ebay messaging within 72 hours of receiving the part. If a freight item (Transmission, Engine, Bumpers, Ect...) is received in non working condition (when stated in working order on the listing), the buyer will be responsible for return shipping charges. The item will be inspected for installation damages. If damage from installation is found, no refund will be given. If no damage is found a refund of the full purchase price and return shipping will be refunded.
Please note that items attached to parts that are considered convenience items (wiring, bulbs, sockets, sensors, coils, distributor caps, spark plugs, water pump, filters, brake parts, backing plates, hoses, vacuum lines, u-joints, ect...) do not necessarily come with and are not covered under the 90-day warranty and do not warrant a return. No labor warranty is provided.
Please note that any part broken upon installation is not covered by the 90-day warranty. (i.e. Transmissions, when installing a transmission the torque converter needs to be seated properly on the input shaft. If it is not seated properly and it is bolted to the engine, will result in a broken fluid pump.) If this is found upon return, no refund will be given.
Any alterations to any part before resolving any issues voids the return policy and no return or refund will be granted. This is not only our policy but also a policy set by eBay in the user agreement for both buyers and sellers.
Most parts we sell through eBay Motors come with a 90-day money back guarantee unless otherwise stated.
The 90 day period starts when you take possession of the part. No labor warranty is provided.
In the event a part sold with a warranty fails to operate within the warranty period we will refund the part purchase price. Finding out you did not need a part or want to return the part is only applicable for 30 days and not the full 90-day warranty.
No refund on deposits or unwanted special order parts or special "cut" items.
Use of Freight Forwarders VOIDS all warranties:
French Lake Auto Parts will ship the part to the address provided, however our policy about forwarded packages is that once the item leaves the United States, returns/warranties/or refunds are no longer valid. This means that if the part is not the correct part, does not work properly, or becomes damaged in any way due to the length of transit time, we will not cover it under our return or warranty policies. We will also not refund any additional costs of shipping due to forwarded items.
Original shipping charges and return shipping charges are not refunded.

ANYTHING LISTED AS A CORE WILL NOT HAVE A FULL WARRANTY. WE ONLY GUARANTEE THE PART TO BE REBUILDABLE. IF FOR EXAMPLE AN ENGINE BLOCK IS FOUND TO BE CRACKED AND NOT REBUILDABLE IT WILL BE COVERED UNDER THE 90-DAY WARRANTY. INTERNAL PARTS OF A CORE ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY.
