Popeye Swee’Pea Latex Collector Display Mask by Henry Alvarez - Alvarezwax - Sweetpea

This head is a foam filled latex mask (not wearable), hand painted, from the 1990’s sculpted by Henry Alvarez and Andrea Alvarez. Includes hands.

The mask shows wear and age. Has scratches on cheek and lip (see pics).
Measures approximately 12 inches high.

This is from the personal private collection of Henry Alvarez.

Henry Alvarez was a renowned artist who produced wax figures for museums around the world, as well as providing his talent to the Special Effects Film Industry, working on such classic films as Robocop, Total Recall, John Carpenter’s The Thing, and more. The Alvarez Estate is now selling some items from his private collection.
