These are brand new old stock still sealed in blister packs. These are designed for industrial applications (SBC, Cameras) but will also work in consumer grade equipment. Would be great for a vintage PC. I create two 500MB partitions and put the operating system on one, and on the other, all the stuff I don’t want to lose when I reinstall the OS. Works great!

Some things to note:

XTIDE : I was able to get these to detect using the XTIDE Universal BIOS r625 on a Glitchworks Rev 4 XT-IDE Card. Your mileage may vary with other XT-IDE solutions. I was also able to use this as a hard drive replacement using the onboard IDE controller of my motherboard using a cheap CF to IDE adapter.

These come with a partition on them already from Transcend. Before you install your operating system, you should delete this partition and create new ones. After the partitions are created, you should use the command:

fdisk /mbr

To create the master boot record. Then you’re good to go with a high quality compact flash drive!

Will be carefully packaged for safe shipment.
