 Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers a 1920's Oscar Schmidt, (thank you to a more knowledgeable eBayer for the brand name information), Banjo Ukulele, Banjolele Banjo Uke. 7" Single rolled metal clad body. 12 tension hooks. New goatskin (thin) natural head. New nylon strings, newer bridge. The rest of the instrument is original. Early Grover Champion friction disc tuners. All the fiber friction plates, and discs are there. The tuners work as they should. The headstock has an older repair on the treble side, you can see the counter sunk screw head. Was still solid, left it alone. The is a corner chip of wood missing, top bass side point of the headstock. I have stripped and refinished the neck, and fretboard. I re-dyed the fretboard with black India ink, as it was done in the beginning. Very little wear on the fret wires, and fretboard. The nickel plated rolled cladding was so corroded, I could not get it to shine. so it came out looking best with a steel wool rubbed / brushed finish. The hardware, hooks, nuts, ETC were all polished in my rock tumbler, using crushed walnut shells, as the media. The tailpiece is unmarked, was on it when I got it. 21" overall length, 13-1/8" scale length, 1-1/4" nut width, 7' head diameter, 2-5/16" body/pot height.  PLAYER Read my feedback, buy with confidence!
