These are cable extensions one would use to prevent HDMI wire kinking. In our experience some HDMI ports, like Playstation's, for example are fairly poorly made, and kinked HDMI wire or HDMI wire that is regularly plugged in and out, will stress that port's mounting enough to damage it over time. This extension is small enough that it can just stay plugged it. This way the correct HDMI port is never used because you plug your wire into this extension.
