A late 19th century (or early 20th century) pair of Chinese silk embroideries in golden hues on indigo blue silk ground; depicting a crane in shallow water surrounded by blossoms and butterflies. Lined with a white silk and finished with cord trim along the edges with tassels at each corner.

Very good condition; the only minor issue is that a small section of the cord trim has come loose from the edge of one piece.
