Publiched by the government of Japan in 1964, this stunning large 3-volume boxed set offers an in-depth photographic look at the life and culture of Japan in the 1960s. Each volume focuses on one subject: Art and Culture, Land and People, and Industry.
Three volumes hardbound in red, blue or yellow cloth with black lettering on the spines, 10 1/2" x 13 1/2", total of 660 pages in the three volumes. Accompanied by two stapled booklets in an envelope with text translated to Spanish and French.
Books are housed in a black cloth covered folding slipcase with a white label with black and red lettering on the cover and straps with white bone clips that hold the case closed.
Includes an original dedication slip stating that the set is to commemorate the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the international Monetary Fund.
