This beautiful handcrafted basket is a remarkable piece of Americana history. The intricate splint design and light brown color make it a unique addition to any collection. The basket was created sometime between 1900-1949 in the Northeastern United States and has an original patina.  Despite the age of the basket, it remains in excellent condition.  5 1/2" tall 6 3/4' Dia at the top  5 3/4" bottom dia.  I don't think it was used for apples.  (Too small) This item is perfect for any antique or primitive collector, and its authenticity is guaranteed.  This basket is from a farm in Charlton.  Saratoga County NY.
