A fabulous antique hand-tinted photograph of a woman with a bonnet standing beside her bed in her bedroom. The signature by Wallace Nutting is clear. The wood frame is original to the photograph...the photograph is set on a mat.
It is 18 1/4" x 12 1/4". The frame shows wear. There is dust on mat that has creeped inside glass over the years. The actual photograph is 9 1/4" x 4 1/8".
Wallace Nutting predominantly photographed Colonial New England scenes, he was an artist a collector of antiquities, and a minister.
This was left to a girl from her great grandmother. She was told by her grandmother that is was valuable to was given several. This was one she has asked me to sell for her.
