Condition: Very good condition.  It has been worn and will show signs of wear and has most likely been stored in a Barbour jacket pocket so will be creased. Waxed cotton jacket hoods have a smell, this is normal and is the odour of the wax treatment, if you are unfamiliar with this smell then please check it out before buying.  The photo's are of the actual hood you will receive. This 6oz Barbour Waxed Cotton Hood, with tartan lining, is designed to fit Barbour jackets which have four male press studs on the jacket collar.  This hood has a Barbour tartan lining, varying by colour, which is designed to match and correspond to jacket colours and linings.  It has a wire stiffener and tightening draw-cord with toggles

The hood is compatible with the vintage Waxed Cotton Bedale, Beaufort, Burghley and Border jacket.  It is not a match for the newer "Sylkoil" treated jackets.
