Ralph Harold Boston (May 9, 1939 – April 30, 2023) was an American track athlete who received three Olympic medals and became the first person to break the 27 feet (8.2 m) barrier in the long jump.


He also broke Jesse Owens world record and inspired many future Team USA long jumpers.


One of a kind piece of Olympic history - track suit issued to him for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics for being a member the Spirit Team as a USA Olympic great
