Vintage 1960s Italian Army Heavyweight Cotton Canvas Backpacks

These large backpacks were first issued in the 1950s but also saw use until much later in the Italian Army.  A very versatile canvas bag to have.

Features:

• Made from heavy cotton canvas,
• Drawstring hole closure, some have a chain, most do not
• Buckle fastened main flap and external compartments,
• Internal protectvie flap fastened with chain, see pictures
• Detachable, adjustable harness,
• 2 buckle fastened external compartments, 11" x 6" x 3.5"
• Dimensions 20" x 16" x 8", roughly, but really rounds out for extra girth.
• Item weighs approx 2.2 kg
• Condition: in good condition, but expect some fading. Due to longterm storage they may have picked up some minor marks. Metal parts may also have some rust spots. Exact colour tone may also differ slightly from the pictures
