"ROSANNE"
Roseanne is an American
television sitcom that
was originally broadcast
on ABC from October
18, 1988, to May 20, 1997, with a revival season set to premiere on March 27,
2018.
Lauded for its realistic portrayal of a middle-class
American family, the series starred Roseanne Barr, and revolves
around the Conners, an Illinois working-class family.
The series reached #1 in the Nielsen ratings, becoming the most
watched television show in the United States from 1989 to 1990. The show
remained in the top four for six of its nine seasons, and in the top 20 for
eight seasons.
In 2002, Roseanne was
ranked #35 on TV Guide's 50 Greatest TV Shows of All
Time. In 2013, it was ranked #32 on TV Guide's 60 Best Series of
All Time. On May 16, 2017, it was announced ABC would produce an eight-episode
10th season revival of the series, set to air as a mid-season replacement in
2018, with the original cast returning. In November 2017, it was announced that
ABC had ordered an additional episode for the new season, bringing the total up
to nine. It is set to premiere on March 27,
2018.

"Workin' Overtime" first aired on ABC-TV on March 14, 1989. The group at Wellman Plastics is growing tired as Booker continues to lengthen the worker's shifts due to quotas & factory mistakes and Roseanne can't take it any longer. When Roseanne completes another long day of work and comes home to the everyday craziness, she must escape and take a breather. JOHN GOODMAN John Stephen Goodman (born June 20, 1952) is an American actor. Early in his career, he was best known for playing Dan Conner on the ABC TV series Roseanne (1988 - 1997), for which he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in 1993. He is also a regular collaborator with the Coen brothers on such films as Raising Arizona (1987), Barton Fink (1991), The Big Lebowski (1998), O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), and Inside Llewyn Davis (2013). Goodman's voice roles in animated films include Pacha in Disney's The Emperor's New Groove (2000) and Monsters University (2013). |

Lane (2016) and supporting roles in Coyote
Ugly (2000), The
Artist (2011), Extremely Loud and Incredibly

Day (2016). On television, he has had regular roles
on Amazon Studios' Alpha House and
on the first season
of HBO's Treme and has been one of
the most frequent hosts of Saturday Night Live, as well as
playing guest roles on series such as Community. John
Heilpern of Vanity Fair has called him "among
our very finest
actors".
