Hi this auction is for a lovely little vintage pill box.

Made up of a metal base in gold tone.

Detailed etched design to the base.

Square shape that measures approx 3.5cm across 3.5cm high and 1.25cm deep.

The top is inlaid with a single piece of brown material, looks like leather or vinyl or similar.

Inside has a little cream plastic liner and this is split into two sections.

I think probably originally would have been a pill pot but would also suit for trinkets, earrings etc or just for display.

In fair used condition, has slight surface wear to the edge of the leather and quite a bit of wear to the metal, some noticeable tarnishing to the sides and base.

There is a makers mark to the base, this is hard to make out but looks like Ascot.

Is from a smoke free home.

Unsure of exact age but would guess probably 1960’s or so.
