Rare Black Women ODDFELLOWS 1920 Beautiful Antique FRAME 24" x 19", "Household of Ruth"
We bought this ODD FELLOWS large Framed Document years ago at an Auction because we loved the ART & the Antique FRAME that is so beautiful!
A Great Piece of Odd Fellows History!
I was not a member, but I do know all about the Odd Fellows and the good work they do...I directed a 1/2 hour TV Documentary Film about the Odd Fellows in Illinois with Sentator Bob Dole as our spokesman. (1980's)
This colorful piece of art does have some stains in the lower right corner...
...but the overall piece is in good condition for a Document that's over 100 years old...there are some small tears along the edges, but the beautiful main Certificate is still colorful and no rips or tears on the main art.
This beautiful Antique FRAME measures approximately 24" x 19"...
Here's a Shot of the back of this FRAME...obviously it will need TLC!
Since being acquired, this has been stored inside an acid free sleeve and board in a protective box...the storage room is kept in a dark, humidity controlled and air conditioned year round 72 degrees...
