This stoneware jug by Doulton Lambeth to celebrate the diamond jubilee of Queen Victoria is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or signs of use or repairs. It has two cameo portraits of the Queen and the statements 'Dei Gratia - VICTORIA - Queen & Empress 1837 1897 - She brought her people lasting good'. 

On the base it has the Doulton impressed backstamp used c.1891-1956, the monograms of the artist Elizabeth Atkins and the Assistant Ellen Palmer. Please examine all photos carefully as they constitute part of the description.
