Item for sale is a vintage 1978 Rand McNally 12" world globe with topographic features and raised relief. I've dated the globe to 1978 based on Dominica being independent and St' Lucia still being marked for the UK. Still has Upper Volta and Rhodesia, and Vietnam is unified. Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc countries are still exhibited.
Globe is in very nice condition for age. Tape that circled the equator has dried up and fallen off, but other than that the globe is well cared for. Base has some age related wear from oxidation. Please see all pictures for complete details.
Note: Base will be removed for shipping to save space. Requires one bolt to be screwed in for reattachment.
