Death NYC is a street artist from New York. She grew up in New York, she was exposed to a variety of cultures, which made her question the things she saw on the street. This experience is vital in the choice of her pseudonym and approach. 

DEATH chooses to remain anonymous, she believes that this gives her more freedom to continue working on the street. She started painting on the walls and floors of popular shops in the Soho and Chelsea area of New York City. It takes its name from DEATH, an abbreviation of ?Don?t Easily Abandon The Hope?.
