I tried putting in batteries to see if this would work, but had no success. The center wheel came off while doing this and I could not get it back on. Also, there is tape residue on the bottom because the battery cover will not stay closed.

I see some evidence of battery corrosion in the compartment, so if that can be cleaned, maybe this will start working.
