This is an old 35 mm format manual focus lens with adapter to SONY E mount NEX series or new Alpha series MILC (mirrorless) body. Not a native SONY autofocus lens.

35 mm film camera lens' film coverage is 36 x 24 mm, so called full frame by digital standard.

E-mount. Not A-mount.

I have fully tested this lens to ensure the functionality. The test photo is taken with this lens mounted on SONY NEX-5 digital.

If you use adapted lens on SONY digital for the first time, please do MENU → (Custom Settings) → [Release w/o Lens] → desired setting.

Please confirm you can use this lens.

If you are not sure about anything, please ask me.

Sakar 35-75 F3.5-4.8 manual focus zoom lens SN K8715321 Canon FD mount, and an FD adapter to NEX E-mount MILC body.

This 35-75 lens appears to be very popular in the 1980's. I have sold over 10 of this bearing different distributors' names. Serial number Kxxx maybe was made by Kiron Precision.

Using FD mount lens, please ensure lens breech lock is turned to left to lock and aperture ring on the adapter is turned to left (off position engaging manual aperture control).

I usually don't deal with zoom lens. Only a few tested and satisfied zoom lenses are listed in my eBay store. Old zoom lens often has problem with middle elements. The only way to know the integrity is testing it. This lens is tested.

Test photo is taken at the middle of the zoom range.

Adapter can be removed and used on other FD mount lens.

The following items are included:

Glass is in great shape. Just very little dust. See listing photos. I don't sell lens with fungus.

Test photo is clean and clear.

Focus is smooth and firm. Zoom is smooth and firm. Old school lens feel.

Aperture movement is snappy. Aperture blade is dry, no oil.

Externally there is light usage wear.  Please inspect the listing photos for cosmetic condition.

For a 40 years old zoom lens, this one is certainly a good piece.
