A Vintage Handmade Hardwood Hand Carved Decorative Tribal Birthing Chair

A really lovely old vintage birthing type chair. Probably African in origin. A bit too large to be a general tourist piece. Carved from some kind of exotic hardwood with beautiful colouration. Very nicely carved and certainly a really good decorative display piece. Some general age/wear to be expected but in good condition for it's years. A great item and a good size. Marked with the initial "G" to back of seat and back of chair back.

Measures approximately; 99cm high x 31cm wide at top and 21cm wide at seat.
