In the world of vintage guitars this is one of those rare times when phrases like "once-in-a-lifetime" and "unprecedented" seem to actually be real. For sale is a 1972 Fender Stratocaster exceptional condition with fantastic case accessories.

Purchase of this guitar includes:
-Original hard case (has some dents and dings but all latches and hinges are fully functional)
-Original Fender strap (additional fender strap is also included)
-Original Product warranty
-Original Product owners manual
-Original envelope containing instructions for adjusting tremolo springs
-Audio-Technica Microphone warranty

The owner of this guitar received it as a gift from his parents in high school (in the 70's) and it has largely sat untouched since. Consequently, it is like opening a piece of guitar history when the latches click open. He had it cleaned, detailed, and inspected approximately 15 years ago and it is still in fantastic condition.

It does have some signs of wear in keeping with its age, including the following:
-There is a finish crack between the neck plate and back pickup cover
-Tuners are fully operational and smooth, but a bit stiff
-There are some small dings in the finish, as well as light scratching. Nothing major, but I have tried to show them as accurately as possible in the photos.
-The pickup switch is a bit stiff, but fully operational
-The middle tone knob is partially stripped out in the knurling. If it's cranked too rough it may spin without actually adjusting the tone. This could be fixed very easily with a new knob, but we are leaving it to the discretion of the purchaser in case they want to keep every part original.
-Some scratching and wear on the very end of the headstock. Also, there is a small dent under the strings on the headstock.
-The original strap does have some wear on the shoulder portion.

Shipping cost is high because of insurance. If you would like it shipped without insurance let me know and I can get you an adjusted rate.

I have tried to show everything as fully and accurately as possible in the photos. Please reach out with any questions you may have.

Thanks for looking!
