the shiki1000 is heavy duty freight car built by nippon sharyo  for the then JNR and designed to carry large loads in a low riding position at the normal freight train operating speed pf 75 kph........3 wagons were constructed in the late 1970s with load capacity of 55 tons; unladen weight of the wagon is 51 tons....... major power transformer manufacturers of the japanese electrical industry are the typical load providers as the cars are still in service.........

please note that the transformer loads require minor assembly including adhesive work.......  

this tomix 93565 set was only available at the 59th all japan model hobby show held in september 2019; road numbers are differentiated on the 3 wagons - 1000, 1001, and 1002....
