Mitchell 330 Otomatic engraved on cover plate
Wide anti reverse lever with no lever stops
Tripping system with first generation components
Automatic finger dab bail
Left hand wind
Two spools

This reel has been used very little, and the paintwork has some slight rubbing on the edges of the housing, rotor and the foot where it attaches to the rod (see pictures). The reel is fully functioning with a smooth retrieve and working anti-reverse. The chrome is shiny and the bail spring is strong and flips over with a light finger dab. The box is solid, with some shelf wear and splits in two of the seams (see pictures), and the extra spool is in a plastic container with no cracks.

When the fast retrieve 440 was launched in 1966, for reasons of standardization, it was decided to fit the tripping system of the 440 on the 330. The last 330 to have the first generation tripping system was serial number 5591840, and this reel was amongst the last of the 330's to be fitted with the old system with white plastic parts on the baffle plate.

This is an excellent condition, fully functioning, nearly 60 year old reel, complete in it's box, to fish with or add to a collection.
