Esprit EDC hooded black dress pockets detachable hood goth emo sz 42 *flaw*.

Once in a while I find a piece that absolutely wows me. This is one of those. My eyes moved from the subtly striped fabric, to the plethora of buttons, poppers, straps and zips and then to the mix of functional and faux pockets. Flipped it over to reveal a hood and then discovered it is a detachable hood. What a treat! My inner teen self screamed with delight at such a garment.

The hem is rather peculiarly gathered at either side as if fastened with bulldog clips on the inside so it's not the pencil style or fit and flare skirt that it might first appear. I've tried to give a better idea of this with the photos just before the laundry label ones. It absolutely adds to the charm but is worth noting as it's not obvious from the usual front and back photos.

The size label indicates a 42, but I think with European sizing and the measurements I've given below, that would indicate a cm measurement for the chest as it is quite a small outfit so please do check my measurements below before purchase.

I'm delighted to say that the flaw I have highlighted is simply that the laundry label indicates it should come with a belt and there isn't one! You could happily leave it beltless or find an awesomely outrageous belt to team with it as there are belt loops.

Call it a short sleeved dress, a jacket, a coat, I call it fantastic.
