It appears to have had a music box at one time but unfortunately now it does not. It works great. The bulb lens to one side but functions fine. There is one hole in the tree that is not hollow to stick a bulb through. Also included is a JFG peanut butter jar full of addition bulbs of all sizes. There are even blue bird bulbs. I’m referring to the little pegs as bulbs but I would consider them pegs, as the light reflects through them to give a lighted look.i didn’t notice any cracks or chips. There is no star for the top.
