  • Description: Illustration for the fourth part of the opera cycle, "Twilight of the Gods". The hero Siegfried stands on the banks of the Rhine, where the three Rhinemaidens beg him in vain for the stolen ring and the stolen Rhine gold.

  • Condition: Very good condition. Somewhat wavy on the left margin. Long printer's crease at top. Lower long diagonal crease and single brown stain. Old mounting verso along the left edge of the sheet. The corners of the sheet minimally bumped.
