  • Beschreibung: Feines Aquarell eines Klostergebäudes in barocker Formensprache mit befestigter Mauer um einen Klostergarten. In der Ferne ist die Kuppel einer großen Kirche sowie einige Türme zu sehen. Deren Gestalt erinnert an den Duomo in Florenz. Die Architektur im Vordergrund erinnert entfernt an die Festung Belvedere südlich des Arno.

  • Description: Fine watercolour of a monastery building in Baroque style with a fortified wall around a monastery garden. The dome of a large church and several towers can be seen in the distance. Their shape is reminiscent of the Duomo in Florence. The architecture in the foreground is vaguely reminiscent of the Belvedere fortress south of the River Arno.
