  • Beschreibung: Porträt en face von Erhard Klepper (1906-1980), in Schlesien geborener deutscher Maler, Kostümzeichner, Grafiker und Illustrator, der vorwiegend in Berlin tätig gewesen ist, bekannt für seine zahlreichen historischen Modeillustrationen. Früh inspirierte ihn die französische Dichtung, insbesondere Balzac, Zola und Maupassant. Eine kurze Zeit lebte er in Paris und zeichnete die mondäne Welt mit satirischem Einschlag. Ausstellungsbeteiligungen in den 1950er Jahren in Berlin.

  • Zustand: Guter Zustand. Rechte obere Ecke knickspurig, am rechten oberen Rand blaue Farbspur, fleckig im Bereich des Kinns. Die Fotografie weist Fettspuren auf, die je nach Lichteinfall unterschiedlich stark zu erkennen sind. Das Porträt macht einen sehr guten Eindruck.

  • Description: Portrait en face of Erhard Klepper (1906-1980), a German painter, costume designer, graphic artist and illustrator born in Silesia, who worked mainly in Berlin and is known for his numerous historical fashion illustrations. He was inspired early on by French poetry, in particular Balzac, Zola and Maupassant. He lived in Paris for a short time and drew the sophisticated world with a satirical twist. He participated in exhibitions in Berlin in the 1950s.

  • Condition: Good condition. Crease in the upper right corner, blue trace of colour in the upper right margin, stained in the chin area. The photograph shows traces of grease, which can be recognised to varying degrees depending on the incidence of light. The portrait makes a very good impression.
