closed on the front and the back 

by ONE ancient crystal

Inside a very beautiful and elaborate gold paper and 

silver thread decoration surrounds the holy relics 

EX CAPILLIS S.DOMINICI G.

In back a very important red wax seal 

insure the integrity of  the relic

the silky threads that seal the reliquary are intact.

The ecclesiastical coat of arms engraved in wax seal

  corresponds to the coat of arms engraved on the document

In the document there is the description of:

the relic:

“ NOS RECOGNOVISSE EX CAPILLIS BEATISSIMI PADRI DOMINICI CONFESSORIS FUNDATORIS ORDINIS PREDICATORUM  ..."

the shrine:

in theca Metallica dealbata capsula instructa in fronte crystallo munita,intus ornata 

the seal:

“,a tergo vero bene occlusa at funicolo serico rubri coloris colligata parcoque sigillo nostro in cera rubra hyspanica impresso

and finally dated:

    Bononiae  hac die 8  mensis Julii anno 1960
