THIS AUCTION IS FOR A CON-COR/RIVAROSSI, UNION PACIFIC # 4055, 4-8-8-4 BIG BOY, PREMIERE EDITION, BLACK and SILVER PAINT, LIGHTLY WEATHERED STEAM LOCOMOTIVE, WITH MATCHING UNION PACIFIC CENTIPEDE TENDER.        IN GOOD CONDITION. N SCALE. ( lightly used )

This locomotive features 16 metal drive wheels, articulated drive, with 4 traction tires, all brass drive gears ( no plastic gears or plastic wheels )  With operating front headlamp, Micro-Trains operating knuckle couplers on front of locomotive, and on the rear of the tender. 

 The Black and Silver paint is very clean and crisp, with very light weathering, no scratches or blemishes, with no broken or missing steps or handrails.

Please Note;;;;;;; The original Rivarossi can motor has been upgraded with a new stronger rare earth magnet ( Neodymium Magnet ), also with a new stronger 3 pole Mabuchi skewed armature, with new larger motor brushes and brush springs. Please note also that all of these upgraded motor modifications have been done on the inside of the original motor can, with no modifications done to the outside of the original Rivarossi motor can.

I will also include 2 new extra motor brushes and 2 new motor brush springs, I will also include an extra piece on tubing for the motor coupling, just in case you might need them in a few years of running this locomotive.

This Big Boy locomotive has a perfect front pilot assemble, as can be seen by the close up pictures of the front pilot assemble, and with the 16 wheel articulated drive, this locomotive has more power than ever to pull many freight cars.

This locomotive is in good condition, with very little wheel ware, as can be seen by the close up picture of the drive wheels, and comes in its original foam padded  Con-Cor/Rivarossi box, which is in good condition also.
