E.R. Watts & Son, was founded by Edwin Watts in 1856. They were based in London and manufactured scientific instruments, such as theodolites, surveying instruments and barometers. They became a limited company in 1922. They merged with Adam Hilger Ltd, to form Hilger & Watts in 1948.

 

It is unusual to find a standard pocket Barometer by E.R. Watts & Son, with them mainly having manufactured Surveying Barometers.


It is in working condition and has been recording accurate pressure in a static position.


The case is good with a little wear to the plated finish.
