I purchased this FENDER 60th Anniversary Commemorative Collector Stratocaster Electric Guitar from Sam Ash in Southern California in 2015. I had to drive 50 miles to purchase the last one available in SoCal. This Limited Edition Fender, made in 2014 only, celebrates the Diamond Jubilee of the World's Greatest Electric Guitar. This Special Guitar honors the Stratocaster's very first model year as an "Exciting New Instrument" with a tone "as new and different as tomorrow," and is reverently crafted with a vast selection of features, appointments and accessories. 

The Compound Radius Neck and Medium-Jumbo 21 Frets, Gold Plated Hardware, Tuners with White Pearled Buttons, and Three-Ply Parchment Pickguard with Beveled Edges sets this instrument apart from other Stratocasters listed on EBAY as 60th Anniversary Guitars. Under the Hood are Upgrades that include a No-Load Tone Control for the Middle & Bridge Pickups, a Two-Point Synchronized Tremolo, a Bi-Flex Truss Rod with Micro-Tilt Adjustment and a Contoured Head. Special extras and accessories include a Vintage Design Single-Stitch Center Pocket Lockable Tweed Case, a Replica Polishing Cloth, Special 60th Anniversary Fender Cable & Black Leather Strap, a Tin of 60th Anniversary Medium Picks, and a Special Edition "Stratocaster History" Book, available only during 2014 with this Limited Edition Strat. I see a lot of listings on EBAY claiming to be 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Models, but they are not the 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition with the Special Vintage Tweed Case, 60th Anniversary Badge on the Guitar, and the very nice Assortment of Accessories (Eye Candy) that only came with the Limited Edition Guitar. This one is the Real Deal. The Gold-Tone Hardware makes it even more unique & special for Collectors. 

From a Tone Perspective, the Guitar is a lot like theOriginal '54 Strat, with similar tones that every Guitarist knows and loves. However the Feel of the Neck is an entirely different matter, offering a comfortable C-Shaped Profile, Medium Jumbo Frets and a Compound Radius that makes it significantly easier to play. The Tremolo is also a little more refined and can handle deep dives much more competently and without going out of tune. The Guitar had been played at the Store, but has been preserved in the case since then. It is in Like New Excellent Condition. The Guitar was Made in the USA & is Registered by Serial # with Fender USA. The Lockable Tweed Case comes with 2 Keys. The Case is the only item that shows some aging in the form of slight discoloration and some anodizing of the Metal Pieces.
