Betty White wore the exact same dress to the 1989 Emmy Award Ceremony. Note that this IS NOT her dress. Her exact dress sold at auction for over $5k. Google images has lots of photos of her in the dress. Part of an estate collection from the wife of a hotel founder.
The dress starts with an Illusion neckline with gold embroidery and pallets in gold & black. The waist is
dropped with gold cording and velvet with a bow trim. The skirt is netting-backed chiffon that is flocked in a gold & black design. The bottom of the skirt has a velvet horsehair backed trim to give it fullness and shape. The gold cord also trims the neck and sleeves. Brand, size and material tags all missing but this is noted in the Betty White Auction as being by Mignon.
Excellent condition with the exception of some faint residue inside at the pits and a faint smell of perfume. Dress will need to be cleaned and pressed upon receipt.
Estimated size small. Measurements: shoulders 14", pit to pit 16", flat waist 15", high hip 18" flat, sleeves 24", length 58.5".
