This auction is for a MINT NEVER HINGED IMPERFORATE ERROR Plate Number Coil Strip of 7 of Scott # 2263a, the 20c Cable Car, Type IIIb Paper with Block Tagging, Plate # 2 from the third Transporation Coil Series. The plate number is on stamp position 4, the middle stamp. It is unusual to have a long strip such as this at a time when PNC sizes were normally 5 for perforated strips and 6 for imperforate strips.

This PNC7 is immaculate---there are no paper or gum faults or flaws. No wrinkles, fingerprints, etc.

The Scott catalogue of Errors, 18th edition (most recent) values a strip of 6 at $300.00.

This strip is mint never hinged.
