  • Beschreibung: In einem skizzenhaften Rahmen mit ovalem Bildausschnitt ist das Büstenporträt eines älteren Herrn im Halbprofil gezeigt. Der neutrale Blick wird durch die buschigen Augenbrauen und die markant hervortretenden Wangenknochen in die Wirkung versunkener Melancholie abgelenkt.

  • Description: The bust portrait of an elderly gentleman is shown in half-profile in a sketchy frame with oval framing. The neutral gaze is diverted by the bushy eyebrows and the strikingly protruding cheekbones into the effect of sunken melancholy.
