  • Beschreibung: Satirische Darstellung eines ausgelassen scherzenden Mannes mit Zigarre und Sektglas vor einer Gruppe Zylinder tragender Gäste eines Empfangs. Am rechten Bildrand steht im verlorenen Profil Kaiser Wilhelm II. von Preußen, dessen strenge Miene das Missfallen über die Ausschweifung und Zügellosigkeit seines Gegenübers ausdrückt.

  • Description: Satirical depiction of an exuberantly joking man with a cigar and a champagne glass in front of a group of guests wearing top hats at a reception. At the right edge of the picture is Kaiser Wilhelm II of Prussia in lost profile, his stern expression expressing displeasure at the debauchery and licentiousness of his counterpart.
