The smallest of the Sammy family, it has the same great action as the bigger versions, just in a much smaller package. The diminutive size makes it a perfect match for small baitfish late in the year and also for heavily pressured fisheries, where bass are accustomed to seeing many different topwater baits. The lightweight bait is a great match for fishing with light line on a spinning rod or medium action casting rod with light braid or monofilament.
Lucky Craft pro Brent Ehrler is a fan of the smallest Sammy. "It's a very subtle bait and great for finicky schooling fish," he said. "It's not a bait that you can use to cover tons of water with, but it is perfect for the times they are eating small two inch shad."
